Show your support by wearing the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Promise Ring. This two-color band sympolizes the unbroken promise between two sisters to end breast cancer forever.
Promise Rings come as a set (two for $5) - one to wear and one to share. The rings are made of stretch silicone and one size fits all.... the ring can be worn on any finger. More than 82% of the purchase price of the Promise Ring will support our local research and community outreach programs. Wear & Share the Promise Ring!
National Research Grants, the Maine Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure provides grant funding to Maine communities. In order to ensure we are funding programs that address the specific unmet breast health needs of our communities, we work with local medical experts and community leaders to conduct comprehensive community needs assessments. These community profiles are then used to establish local grant application and review processes consistent with Komen's standards and mission. For the fiscal year 2007-2008, we are proud to report that we granted $261,731 taking contributions during our 10 year history over $1.1 million.2008-2009 Grantees Selected |
